Show C. C. C. CAMP MKMTIER AOOOENTLY KILLED Wilford Humphreys of Salt Lake City, a member of the C. C. C. Camp at St. George, was ac-cidently ac-cidently killed Nov. 6. He with others were hauling gravel to be used on the road at the camp. While waiting for the truck he and Harry Bruner walked over to the pit and commenced to work. Immediately the bank gave way and Humphreys was pitched forward. Although his body was only covered to a depth of 6 to S inches, a large solid piece fell on his head and shoulders should-ers causing death. Wilford Humphreys was borr at Paris, Idaho, Nov. 8, 1S99, the son of Mrs. Jane Humphreys. ITe was with the Escalante Camp S-211 until he Joined the present pre-sent company at Duck Creek. Oct 1 6. 1933. This station is located locat-ed at Blue Springs ranger station near Pangultch Lake. His previous prev-ious occupation was a cement worker. The body was sent to Salt Lake City Tuesday, where interment will be made. |
