Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS State of Utah, Office of State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, Utah, November 21, 1928. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m., Thursday, December 6th, 1928, and at that time publicly opened for surfacing of state highway high-way in Iron and Washington counties, coun-ties, the same being S. R. No. 257-A, R-651-B between Cedar City and Ash Creek Bridge. ' The length of road to be constructed con-structed or improved is 21.2 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately as follows: Gravel Surface Loading 12300 cu. yd. Gravel Surface Hauling 19500 sta- ya. Plans and specifications are on file in the oi'nce of the State Road Cont-mission, Cont-mission, Salt Lake City, and at District Dis-trict Engineer's office at Cedar City, where they may be reviewed by prospective pros-pective bidders. Specifications, proposal, pro-posal, bidding blanks and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing $5.00, which will be returned, re-turned, providing contractor submits an acceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional information informa-tion may be secured at the office of . the State Road Commission. Rich bidder must submit a letter from an approved surety company guaranteeing guarantee-ing to furnish said bidder with required re-quired bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certificate check for 0:n Thousand and no 100 Dollars, ($1,000.00) made payable to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give bond as y-quired. y-quired.
