Show j ENTERPRISE J Mr. and Mrs. Marion Terry spent several days of the past week visiting with Mrs. Terry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Atkin Hin-ton Hin-ton of Hurricane. Monday night, March 19, the Cedar City south ward, presented a play entitled "The Second Child," in the Enterprise Ward hall. Thpre was a very poor attendance at-tendance due to lack of advertising. advertis-ing. The play was put over in j good shape and those who attended at-tended laughed in spite of them- selves. i The Forest Reserve is furnishing furnish-ing some work to the local cattle men. Corrals, trails, roads, etc. j are being huilt improving range conditions and helping permittees to pay fees. Friday night, a wedding dance was given tn the ward hall in J honor of Mr. and Mrs. Layfeue j Terry. A good program, dance i and refreshments were enjoyed by ' 1 iarge crowd. I Ex-Bishop Holt was rushed to I :he St. George hospital for treatment, treat-ment, Sunday night. Albert Holt took him down. Commissioner and Mrs. Wm. Lund went to the bridge opening at Hurricane. Ray Adams. Jack Day, and Win. J. Lund spent Sunday in Gold Strike locating claims and preparing ahead to share in any good luck that might come to this region of the country. Mrank Miles of St. George is in town, trying to get the people to plant a forty acre cooperative garden. Jack Ferri is in town from Gold Spring. He reports prospects good at Gold Spring, and also says he will soon start work on the "Old Holt mine." |
