Last Wednesday Wed-nesday night the Misses Estella and Etta Holt entertained at a party in honor of their sister, Mrs. Keith Dot-son, Dot-son, who is visiting them from California. Calif-ornia. A very enjoyable time was had, Sunday evening, Mrs. Alice Lund entertained the older people at a radio party. Refreshments were served and the old folks never enjoyed enjoy-ed themselves better. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crawford returned re-turned Wednesday from California, bringing Grandma Crawford with them. Her condition is somewhat improved. Last Thursday night the Dixie college col-lege presented the play, "The Fortune For-tune Hunter," which was well attended attend-ed and enjoyed by all. Sunday afternoon, Mrs-. Erma Holt served dinner for the school faculty, the occasion being her husband's birthday. Dr. Murray of the state board of health is here doing free dental work for pre-school age children. |
