Show DEATH CALLS LESLIE MORRIS This community was shocked to learn yesterday that Leslie A. Morris had died at Cedar City following an operation for the amputation of right foot accident mentioned elsewhere in this issue. The young man passed away at 4 p. m. Wednesday, the remains re-mains being brought heme last night. With him at the time of his death were his wife, his father, sister Orpha, brother Clare, Bp W. W. Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur and Elis Pickett, all of whom returned last night as well as he three fatherless children. His mother moth-er could not go to Cedar as she has suffered severely with rheumatism many years. Leslie was born in this city, October Oc-tober 9, 1895, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Morris'. He served his country during the' world war and was in action at the front. He was married May 25, 191S to Miss Nettie Knell, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Knell of newcastle and of this union three children, a boy and two girls as well as their mother survive. The eldest child, a girl,is seven years old, boy five and girl 4 years. Leslie was a bright young man of very cheerful and agreeable disposition disposi-tion and his passing is regretted by many friends, who extend heartfelt sympathy to those called upon to mourn. ' " Funeral services will be held in the tabernacle at 2 p. m. tomorrow, Lester Keate Post, American Legion having charge under Bishop Karl N. Snow. |
