LEEDS Leeds, Sept. 24. Our district schools have started with Vernon Church as principal and Miss Maud-een Maud-een Prisbrey assistant teacher. With these competent teachers we are looking look-ing forward to,a most successful school year. Margaret Savage, LaVern Carlow and Eugene Harris are attending school at St. George. Billy Carlow is in Beaver and Addie Savage is attending at-tending 10th grade at Toquerville. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Harris and family, fam-ily, Mrs. Annie Wright and son Charles Char-les have returned from California after an absence of one and one-half years. Miss Edyth McMullin has gone to Arizona to teach school. Mrs. Lynn McMullin has also gone to Arizona for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Parker, of Joseph, are here doing improvement work on their farm. Mr. and Mrs. Edward McMullin and children have gone to Glendale to visit. George C. Neagle of Salt Lake City was a business visitor here Monday. Jack Shurboir has returned to his home in Los Angeles, California.
