Show DAVID BAXTER PASSES AWAY David Baxter died last Friday 'ternoon. Sept. 26. of heart disease and complications. He had never been very robust and his final illness lasted about three weeks. David was an orphan, his father being killed by falling from an electric elec-tric power pole in 1920; his mother dying several, years earlier. While a child he was run over by a wagon which resulted in heart displacement, and this accounted for his delicate health. He was 20 years old on the 15th of December last. Two years before his father died he went to live at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. W. Prince and lived with them until April, this year when he went to the hospital here for treatment. He then went to live with a sister, Mrs. Carl Burgess, and from there went to live with his brother Fred, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Woodbury, Wood-bury, Sr., where he died. David was an exemplary young man. and is very highly spoken of by those who knew him best. He is survived by two brothers, Fred and Bert, and one sistsr, Mrs. Carl Burgess. Bur-gess. Funeral services were held in the Stake tabernacle at 3 p. m. Saturday, conducted by Bishop James Mc-Arthur. Mc-Arthur. The speakers were Elder George W. Worthen and Thomas P. Cottam, concluding remarks being made by Bishop 'James McArthur. Hymms sung were "My Father Knows." and "Some Time We'll Understand." Un-derstand." Interment was made in the .:ity cemetery, the grave being c .'. ered with beautiful flowers. |
