Show SPRINGDALE Springdale, April 20. Steven T. Mather, director of the national park service, was in Zion park Friday and Saturday, leaving Saturday noon for other parks. Ned Foster ex-forest ranger of Ida- uo, is in zion park and will take charge of the saddle horses in the park this summer for the Parry brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Bean, Mr. and Mrs. John Winder and Mrs. Myrtle Winder were in St. George Friday and Saturday. Charley Hepworth made a trip to Orderville and returned Sunday, bringing his wife with him. Cyrus Gifford has purchased some land from Dan Crawford and lias moved his house to Oak creek. Mrs. F. D. Gifford and Mrs. Marilla Ruesch are in St. George for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. John Dennett were visitors in Springdale and Oak creek Sunday. A number of Springdale people are on the big plain working on their dry farms. Winford Gubler of La Verkin was a visitor in Springdale Sunday. |
