Show WASHINGTON- Washington, April 21. Mr. and Mrs. Israel T. Neilson came down from Cedar City Monday to spend a few days with Mr. Neilson's parents M i. and Mrs. Peter Neilson who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary anniver-sary on the 22nd inst. Their daughters, daught-ers, M.rs. Lovisa White and Mrs. Gene Ahlstrom of Los Angeles, California, arrived Monday. We very much appreciated the visit of the home missionaries Sunday, Sun-day, Elders William Pulsipher and Alvin Englestead of St. George. They visited Sabbath school in the morning morn-ing and Sacrament meeting in the afternoon. Their talks were very interesting in-teresting and instructive. Mrs. Englestead accompanied them. Born, April 15, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Iverson of Littlefield, Ariz. Mrs. Iverson is here visiting her mother, Mrs. Morgan Adams. The Primary Association held conference con-ference Sunday afternoon. They gave an excellent program, the parts being very well rendered. The social service club of St. George gave a dance here Friday night. It was very well attended. Mrs. Nancy Turnbeaugn was operated oper-ated upon this morning for appendicitis appendici-tis at the county hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jolley and two sons arrived here Tuesday to visit their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller and Mrs. Roy Pectol went to Pintura Sunday. James R. Cooper returned Monday from Overton, Nevada. |
