Show NEW HARMONY New Harmony, June 29. A wedding wed-ding reception was held on the 27th inst., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reese Davis for their daughter Juan-ita Juan-ita and Mr. Berry Williams. A large crowd was present and all-had a jolly good time. Mr. and Mrs. Williams both have lots of friends here all of whom wish them every success in their married life. Mr. and Mrs. John Hall and daughters, Mrs. Thelma Stirling, Miss Ora Workman and Mrs. Eva Wood, all of Hurricane were here to attend the reception; Mrs. Hannah Williams and son Glen and others were also present from Kanarra. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Adams of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Will Ivins of White River, Nev., and their sister Alice and husband formerly Miss Alice Redd of this place, were all here today visiting. They cooked dinner at their old heme (the Redd farm) now owned by Bp. Pace. They were on their way to Zion National Na-tional park. Miss Ethel Schmutz spent the week end here with her parents. She has spent the past year in Salt J 1 (I IC 1LJ. Mrs. Antone Prince was called to Price last week as her sister's daughter, daugh-ter, Kathleen Pace, had died. Sunday School conference was held yesterday and we enjoyed a visit from the stake, officers. Joseph Forsythe is here for his health, staying with Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Schmutz. Mrs. Orson Hammond is home, having spent some time in California with relatives. Bert Grant came home Saturday having been away shearing sheep for some time. The farmers are all rejoicing over the wonderful rains. |
