Show PINE VALLEY HIE COMING MY 22-24 To Pine Valley residents early or late This letter's addressed to you. Come one, Come all, and bring your mate, Old friendships to renew. July 22 to 24 are the days we've all agreed, There'll be a great time in the old home town So come with mighty speed. Yes come in your autos if you will, But remember that Pine Valley is primitive still; So come with quilts and your frying pan too Prepared to camp out as you used to do. Oh. we'll make you as welcome as welcome can be, But you may need to seek shelter under a tree. It is to be hoped that all who have ever lived in Pine Valley will be able to come on the days mentioned and participate in the festivities that will be prepared. We shall all be "home folks" and no effort will be spared to make comfortable and happy those who gather in from far and near. Old acquaintances will be renewed, memories of by gone days will be recalled, re-called, old time incidents will be retold re-told and a general round of joyful activities will be prepared. (Signed: Wm. J. Snow, Rose B. Gardner, Clarence Gardner, Maud R. Thomas, Alzada Bracken, committee. Ida Bracken, corresponding secretary. |
