Show WOODWARD SCHOOL NOTES Every grade in the Woodward school held a Christmas program. School was dismissed at noon Tuesday and classes will again resume re-sume on Monday, January 5. Miss Foremaster's fourth grade gave a dramatization of the Night Before Christmas, and the Night After Christmas, Monday at 2 p. m. Miss Harmon's first grade gave an operetta at 1:15 Saturday, entitled en-titled the Toys' Rebellion. Last Saturday afternoon, a cantata, can-tata, The Girl Who Had No Birthday, Birth-day, was presented by Miss So- renson's fourth grade. Mass Tillie Winsor's third grade entertained Miss Lucille Worthen's third grade and their parents last Saturday. A pageant was given entitled en-titled The Message of Christmas. After the program refreshments were served. Mrs. Rose Graham's 1st and 2nd grades entertained Miss Seegmil-ler's Seegmil-ler's fifth grade and the parents at a varied Christmas program last Saturday. Miss Atkin's fifth grade, pupils gave 'an operetta entitled Gwendolyn Gwen-dolyn Allen's Christmas. Each grade . had a decorated Christmas tree, and gifts were distributed dis-tributed at noon to the students and their teachers. Miss Benson's second- grade gave a Christmas program Saturday. The play, the Christmas Doll, also was presented. |
