Show CHURCH WORKER, CilJMR DIES Albert Bryner, Utah Pioneer, Passed Away at Home Here Last Friday. Patriarch Albert Bryner, 68, pioneer, pio-neer, veteran church worker and civic leader, died at his home here Friday of kidney complications. complica-tions. He was for many years a farmer and merchant of Price, Carbon county. During the last ten years he has labored as a temple worker in St. George. He was born here February 25, 1863, the son of Hans Ulrich and Marie Mathis Bryner. His early youth was spent at New Harmony. He married Maria Jane Pace on March 18, 1881 in the St. George temple, and on May 17. 1918. he was married to Margaret Pace after his first wife died. He moved to Price -r. i383, and helped settle Castle valley. He was president of the Seventies' quorum, quo-rum, and the Y. M. M. I. A., and superintendent of Sunday schools. He went on a mission to Germany, Ger-many, 1893-1895. He served as a counselor to the bishop in one of the wards in Price from 1896 to 1909, and was bishop of the same ward from 1909 to 1921. He was county clerk, treasurer and commissioner, and chairman of the Red Cross in Carbon county. His grandfather was the first to be buried in the St. George cemetery. ceme-tery. Survivors are his widow, Margaret Mar-garet P. Bryner, three children, Rulon A., of Price; Ruby and Marie Ma-rie of St. George; two grandchildren, grand-children, sisters and brothers, Elizabeth A. Woods. Cedar City; Enoch Redd, of Raymond, Alberta, Canada; John TJ. Bryner, Josephine Jose-phine Fawcctt, Lily Frandsen and Rose Anderson, all of Price; James, Vercna. Alma, of Helper; Anna McMullin and Edith Sheppick, of South Jordan. After funeral services here the remains were taken to Price for interment. Funeral services were conducted for Albert E. Bryner in the tabernacle tab-ernacle at 10 a. m. Saturday, under un-der the direction of the South ward bishopric with Bishop F. G. Miles officiating. ! A song was rendered by the .
