Show SANTA CLARA SANTA CLARA, July 30. ( Frank Reber left last Friday for Pioche to find employment. Miss Dora Gubler was operated on for appendicitis in the Washington County hospital last Friday. John Ence is spending several days in Cedar City visiting relatives and friends. Miss Blanche Graff spent the 24th at Enterprise. Miss Arvilla Graff and Gideon Graff spent Monday at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Reber and baby left Saturday for Las Vegas. They expect to make their home there for the next few months. Mrs. Ernest Reber spent a few days last week at New Harmony Tisiting her daughter, Mrs. Victor Iverson. Mr. and Mrs. James Turner of Washington were visitors here on Sunday at the home of their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Glenn Reber. Mrs. Vivian J. Frei and family left last Saturday for Provo where her husband is attending summer school. They expect, to be gone about' a month. Mrs. Ed R. Frei has been spend-eral spend-eral days at Pine valley visiting relatives rel-atives and friends. Mrs. Vina Bunker of Bunkerville spent Monday here visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Knight, Mrs. John M. Stucki, Mrs. Rhoda Prince and Mrs. Vina Bunker spent Sunday at Zion Park. Mrs. W. W. Dalley left for her home at Summit after spending two weeks here with relatives. Miss Eula Leavitt has gone to Las Vegas to visit her sister, Mrs. Elbert El-bert Gates. . Miss Laura Gubler has returned from Logandale where she has been visiting her brother, Louis. Miss Lily Tobler of Overton was a visitor here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gray are spending a few days here visiting Mrs. Gray's father, Arnold Stucki. Miss Laura Stucki spent several days visiting in Central last week. Mrs. Harvey Stucki and baby returned re-turned Monday from Provo Canyon where they spent a few days. Louis Gubler spent Monday night with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gubler. Miss Sylvia Stucki and Robert Stucki spent Sunday at Overton. Miss Lily Tobler accompanied them. We had with us in sacrament meeting last Sunday Elder Louis Christian of St. George, who gave a very interesting talk on his experiences ex-periences while on a mission in South America. The 24th passed very pleasantly here. Each organization was represented repre-sented by a float in the parade, fol-followed fol-followed by a program. In the afternoon af-ternoon sports were enjoyed by everyone. ev-eryone. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gubler and family were visitors here Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gubler. They were on their way to Logandale to make their 'home. |
