Show HnililCAXK F. F. A. NEWS ; The Future Farmers of America Ameri-ca staged a wrestling bout Friday evening in the High 'School gym. A good crowd was in attendance and everyone was highly entertained. enter-tained. This was a benefit bout to raise funds to send Eldrow (Dutch) Reeves and Hal Brad-shaw Brad-shaw to the National Convention at Kansas City. Eldrow Reeve who is State President of (the Future Farmers of America left Hurricane on Sunday Sun-day evening for Salt Lake City. Hal Brads-haw, local vk-presi-i dent of the F. F. A. will leave here Wednesday and join Eldrow in Salt Lake City. They will both leave Utah for Kansas City on Friday. 'The boys plan on visiting visit-ing the World's fair at Chicago before returning home. The American Legion turned over the proceeds of their dance to be added 'to the $18.59 that was cleared on the fight card. The Hurricane Commercial club also contributed $13.00 and the Wash-in Wash-in g t 0 n County School board $20.00. The members of the Hurricane F. F. A. through the columns of the News, express their appreciation apprecia-tion for the financial help and honor that has been paid them in sending these boys back to Kansas City. |
