Show BINGHAM LIONS HONING SPEARS AND HARPOONS FOR ANNUAL CRAB FEST The Crab Sizzle publicity committee reports that everything every-thing is secret about the Sixth Annual Crab Sizzle get-together which is due to explode Saturday, April 10th. The I script written secret has been rehearsed behind guarded lock- 1 :itcli -il eri! -.r' "I promise to do everything within my power to make the Lions' Annual Crab Sizzle successful", says Mayor Joe Dispenza. The committee members exacting this agreement or not meeting ! with any objections are: left to right John J. Creedon, Ross Pino, I Mayor Dispenza and C. A. "Spud" Morley. ed doors so no one will know who is going to be "roasted". Many humorous jabs at politicians and public figures are in store for those attending. The gag committee led by fire eating eat-ing John J. Creedon will see that all missiles of hardened steel will be extra sharp and to the point. Those who miss it will be sorry. Tickets may be purchased from any Bingham Lions Club member. Proceeds from the affair are used for the Lions Club youth welfare program. The affair is sponsored by the Bingham Canyon Lions Club. Sorenson spent last week in Denver, Colo, where he registered in the school of medicine at the University of Colorado for a four-day post graduate course taken on the subject of the premature infant and the newborn. Dr. Robert Al-way Al-way who conducted the course is a former professor at the Uni-; versity of Utah. Dr. Sorenson ' studied pediatrics under Dr. Alway while attending the U. of U. school of medicine. Mr. and Mrs. William II. Edwards Ed-wards and daughter Billie Gaye of Roosevelt were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Boren Bor-en and family during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Morley and daughter Maurine returned Wednesday Wed-nesday from a short visit at Carmichael, Calif., visiting with their daughter Darlepe and son j in law, Jack Thome and grand-1 son, Gary. They also visited with Captain and Mrs. Paul E. Clays : and family at Fairfield. They reported re-ported a very enjoyable trip with good traveling conditions all the way. O |
