Show COUNTY DIVISION LEADERS URGED TO ATTEND MEETING j County division district chair-; men, vice chairmen and volun-: teers of the Salt Lake Red Cross Chapter's current fund drive were urged to attend the fourth report meeting of the campaign at chapter headquarters, 15 South 2nd East, Friday, April 2, 12 noon. Campaign Vice Chairmnn B.E.I (Buck) Grant and county chair- j men, Walter H. Fox and Max (I. Xendal! explained that thu; mooting will be the county division's di-vision's main report meeting. "While volunteers are welcome it is quite necessary that all dis-1 trict chairmen and vice chairmen ' attend Friday's report meeting ; in Salt Lake City. "District leaders should attend whether their work is finished j or not. However, I think most of! the solicitation will be finished by this time. We will know Friday Fri-day after getting our entire or ganization together just what our problem goal-wise is. "To date we have not announced announc-ed a dollar goal for our division and have urged attainment of an 18,000 membership quota instead. in-stead. "It should be reported now, however, that we have a dollar goal which is $18,575-plus. We have every intention of exceeding exceed-ing that dollar figure," the chairmen said. The campaign leaders said that to date the county division has only reported $5.48ti or 29 per cent of their division goal. "We know, however, that most collections remain in the hands of many district organizations and have not yet been reported. "The entire campaign's eight division:: have reported $81,596' or 52 per cent of a total goal of $158,:I50. "District organizations which attain goal at this meeting will receive special awards for their work," they said. |
