Show LEEDS Leeds, Nov. 29. Primary officers assisted as-sisted by the Blue Bird girls prepared some nice baskets filled with good things to eat, which were taken to our old folks who live alone. Born, a daughter. Nov. 22, to Mr. and Mrs. William Emett, at Harrisburg. Mrs. Maggie J. Olsen and children came in from Gunlock for Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Ben Hopkins of Orderrille is visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Harris and children child-ren and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. McMullin and family. spent Thanksgiving in St. George with relatives. LeVon and Clyde McQuaide came up from St. George and spent Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing here with their mother. Claus C. Anderson of this place and Miss Ruth Nelson of Cedar City were married at Parowan, November 19. Mr. and Mrs. Riley C. Savage gave a Thanksgiving dinner at their farm. All the family was present including "Grandma" and "Auntie," Savage of Toquerville. Mrs. Colbath and son Glenn came down from Cedar City and spent Thanksgiving at Silver Reef. Clint Fuller and Arvil Hartman made a business trip to Cedar City today. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Moody came in from Enterprise to spend Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing here. The Dixie college students all came home for the Thanksgiving holidays. Miss Mary Savage, assisted by her students entertained the schools Wednesday. Wed-nesday. A nice program was given. Miss Mary Savage is spending the holidays at home in St. George. Born, a son, Nov. 20, to Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sterling. |
