Show VEYO Veyo. Nov. 28. Our ward has purchased purch-ased a new player piano. We find this especially nice for our amusements as it was so very hard for us to get music, having none of our own for dances, etc. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Blazzard of Cedar City were visitors in town this week, Mr. Blazzard on official business. Norma, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hunt, who has been f, VCry ill trie past week, is on the im- prove. Bertha and Lucy Huntsman who have had scarletina are both better but still quarantined. Our school presented a very fine little lit-tle Thanksgiving program last Tuesday evening. After the program all joined in a dance. Everyone enjoyed themselves them-selves immensely. Mr. and Mrs. James L. Bunker spent last Friday working in the temple. Our students. Miss Mildred Bunker, Miss Phyllis Cottam and Evan Certain, Cer-tain, who are attending the Dixie college, col-lege, spent the Thanksgiving holidays at home. Misses Kathleen Cottam. Itha Neil-son Neil-son and Melba Pa.xman of St. George spent the Thanksgiving holidays at Veyo. guests of Miss Phyllis Cottam. Ben Bunker and Roy Steel of Delta were visiting friends and relatives here during the week, returning home Saturday Sat-urday morning. Andrew N. Seitz is beginning work on his new house. Our Relief Society will give a bacaar and dance Thursday evening. |
