MUCH ACTIVITY AT SILVER REEF Thirty men are now employed in the operations at Silver Reef. New machinery has been installed, including includ-ing an electrically-operated hoist, tool sharpeners, and a first class tool shop and hoist room have been erected. The crew Is now sinking a three-compartment three-compartment shaft which has reached reach-ed a depth of 275 feet. No ore is being taken out at the present, the operations so far being only in the nature of exploratory work and for the purpose of blocking out ore.
