Show HURRICANE HURRICANE, Dec. 10. Born, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Isom on December 5. a son to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wright on December 7, a son to Mr. and Mrs. George Stevens Ste-vens on December 7, and a son to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Campbell on December 8. The Stevens baby contracted con-tracted flu and lived less than 24 hours. Mrs. Stevens and her three other children also have the disease. dis-ease. There is a great deal of sickness in town. The school and church have had very poor attendance. Several of the teachers have gone home because be-cause of illness. Albert Russell died on December 10 at the home of William Wright, a victim of pneumonia. He leaves a widow and four daughters, Mrs. William Stratton, Mrs. Mat Hartley, Mrs. William Wright of Hurricane, and Mrs. Hortense Foremaster of St. George; two sons, Ellis Russell and Serell of Hurricane, and twenty grand children. Also surviving are four brothers, Frank, Alfred and Lorenzo Lo-renzo Russell of Grafton and Elisha Russell of Springdale, and one sis-ster, sis-ster, Mrs. Edward Ballard of Hurricane. |
