Show DECREASING OUR BOND BURDEN i $185,129 Sliced From State Bonded Debt During Year Ending June 30th, 192S Washington county in 1928 reduced its bonded indebtedness by $12,500, according to figures compiled by the Oaa Taxpayers Association and published pub-lished in its official organ, the Utah Taxpayer. The indebtedness of the Washington Washing-ton county school district was reduced reduc-ed from $85,500 in 1927 to $76,000 in 1928, i decrease of $9,500. .Hurricane reduced its indebtedness from $34,000 to $32,000, a decrease of $2000. Santa Clara wiped out its indebtedness indebt-edness of $1000 which was incurred for a water system. The total county indebtedness in 1927 was $222,000; in 1928, $209,500. The total bonded debt of the state was .decreased S185.129. Salt Like county school districts Increased their nSed debt $'227,000 for the year, while Weber school district decreased decreas-ed its debt $60,000. The districts in the state which decreased their school bonded indebtedness indebt-edness follow: Washington, Beaver, Cache, Daggett, Davis, Emery, Garfield, Gar-field, Grand, Juab, Tintic, Millard, San Juan, Sevier, Summit, Tooele, Uintah, Utah county, Wayne and Weber. Duchesne, Iron and Salt Lake districts dis-tricts added to their burden. |
