Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, Sept 28. Miss Josephine Jose-phine Wittwer of this city and Walter Walt-er Hughes of Mesquite, Nev., are being be-ing married in the St. George temple today.- The happy couple will leave this evening for Salt Lake City where they will attend conference and take in the State fair. The members of the Santa Clara Relief Society and Ivins Relief Society So-ciety and their partners enjoyed themselves at a weinie roast on the Sugarloaf last Friday. The, Misses Grace and Lottie Tob-ler Tob-ler came down from Cedar City to spend some time visiting their brother broth-er Ezra, who leaves shortly for the German mission. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Graf and small son from Rockville and Miss Clara Graf who is teaching school at Hurricane Hur-ricane spent the week end here visiting. visit-ing. Mrs. Levi Snow and . family are here from St. George visiting Mrs. Snow's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Harm-on Hafen. Miss Josephine Wittwer entertained entertain-ed at a trousseau tea yesterday. A shower was held for her last Saturday. Satur-day. Mrs. Victor Iverson and small son of Washington were here visiting friends and relatives yesterday. Ether J. Stucki spent the week end here from Cedar City visiting his wife and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Ence and son Richard spent the week end in Cedar City, visiting. Mrs. Joseph Graf is in St. George staying with her daughter, Mrs. Bryan Lund. Ezra Tobler had his tonsils removed re-moved last week. He is improving slowly. |
