Show SPRINGDALE SPRINGDALE, April 29. The ladies' la-dies' B. B. club challenged the men for an hour's entertainment contest last week. The men entertained for an hour, after which the women entertained. en-tertained. The judges called the contest con-test a tie. Next week a supper is to be furnished by the men and prepared pre-pared by the women, as the result of the contest. Everyone at the party pronounced it a great success. Vernon Fairbanks, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Fairbanks, and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Avard Fairbanks were visitors vis-itors at the home of their father, J. B. Fairbanks, last Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs.' J. B. Fairbanks Fair-banks accompanied them to Salt Lake City where a family reunion was held, prior to Avard's leaving for Ami Arbor, Mich., to work. They returned home Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Fairbanks returning with them to spend the summer here. There is not a great deal of sickness sick-ness in town at the present time, although recently we had some very serious cases of flu. Our schools are preparing for their closing exercises. Our teachers have given us excellent service and we are grateful to them for it. David Dennett and Artimus DeMill of Rockville were our Sunday night speakers, |
