Fenton Meacham returned Monday moroins irom Suit Lake City where he spent a week on business. Lyman Canfield returned Monday from Enterprise where he spent several sever-al days visiting. Mrs. George Worthen entertained the Mothers club at her home Monday Mon-day afternoon. Mrs. Abram Burgess and daughter Miss Elsie of Central came in Monday to visit Mrs. George B. Whitney. E. R. Higbee and daughters Misses Eleen and Wilma left Tuesday for Salt Lake City. Walter Granger and Lister Hardy of Mesquite, Nevada, were visitors here Sunday. John Cottam left today for Ogden where he is taking a boy to the state industrial school. Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Miles spent the week end here from Panguitch where he is teaching school. William R. Wooley left Wednesday for Las Vegas, Nev., after spending a few days here visiting. Nat Ashby left last Friday for Ogden intending to spend some time there working. Mrs. Rhea Wiakeling of Toquerville spent last Friday here with Mrs. E. R. Higbee. Harold Bunting left Monday for the Hurricane valley where he will spend several months working. William Grimshaw and son George of Enoch spent the week end here visiting. Miss Wanda Guerrero of Motoqua is here visiting, she is the guest of Miss Barbara Sturzenegger. A party was had at the home of Miss Lucile Burgess last Thursday evening. County Assessor W(ill Brooks spent three days this week at Rockville, Springdale, and Zion park assessing property. Mr. and Mrs. Ianthus Spendlove of Hurricane came in Monday to spend several days here with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sullivan and family. . Mrs. Pearl Siebert and two children arrived here Sunday from Los Angeles, Calif., to visit her mother Mrs. Libbie Christian. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shirk and son Kenneth left Monday for Visalia, Cal., to attend the funeral of Mr. Shirk's nephew. Mrs. Schnoff and Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Baldwin of Henrieville came in Monday Mon-day to spend this week here doing tem ple work. Arthur Cottam whose condition has been very precarious since an appendicitis appendi-citis operation, is now rapidly recovering recover-ing and will soon be able to be out. Miss Melba Woodbury spent the latter lat-ter part of last week here from Salt Lake City with her mother, Mrs. Hat-tie Hat-tie Woodbury. LOST Sunday. A black silk scarf between Mrs. Thomas P.
