Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, Mar. 5.-Professor George Terry, phenologist and psychologist of Salt Lake City and Hinckley, Millard Co. is spending some time here visiting visit-ing his numerous friends and relatives. rela-tives. Professor Terry has made phrenology phren-ology a life study and one is immediately immed-iately impressed by his majestic personality. per-sonality. When in Denver, Colo., some time ago he attracted considerable attention at-tention by his readings. His stay here has been a reunion with many old and familiar friends for the professor and his wife Mrs. Fannie Slaughter Terry are both natives of Rockville, but for the past 20 years have made their home in the northern part of the state. Mrs. Fannie Benhannan arrived last Monday from Baker, Idaho, where her husband Andrew Benhannan died recently re-cently after a brief illness. Andrew Benhannan was a native of this place, but had spent the last few years in Arizona and Idaho. Mrs. Benhannan will make her home here for the present. pres-ent. W. Mayes of Flagstaff, Ariz., was a visitor here this week end. Mrs. P. Jones was quite sick last week but she is now slightly improved. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirsrhi mnpH into their new home last week. Bishop Philetus Jones, Arthur D. Cox and Brigham Dalton returned last Tuesday from a business trip to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Alvin Jones spent part of last week visiting relatives at Cedar City. Our old friends The Imperial Players, played two nights here last week to crowded houses. Their productions were both high'class and much enjoyed. enjoy-ed. Rockville continues to grow. During Dur-ing the past few months, real estate has shown much improvement, some new homes are to be built this spring. Ten cottages have been built and furnished fur-nished for the accommodation of travellers and several home owners are sharing their house room with families fami-lies who cannot obtain other accommodations. accom-modations. The members of the Ono club are to be congratulated on their most recent venture. They have entered a contract con-tract with the Dixie Power Co. to finance fin-ance the street lighting system and Rockville is now electrically lighted throughout. Bishop P. Jones and David A. Dennett Den-nett made a trip to Hurricane and Toquerville last week. Charles B. Petty of Cedar City was a visitor here this week. Brigham Dalton has been quite ill for the past few days. |
