Show WASHINGTON Washington, August, 5. A very pleasant party was held Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. II. E. Averett, the occasion being Mr. Averett's Birthday. About fifty guests were present. An impromptu program of songs, recitations, etc., was rendered, refreshments of ice cream and cake were served and a jolly good time was reported. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Neilson who have spent the past three months in Cascade, Cas-cade, Idaho, returned, home Sunday. Denzil Sproul, Ernest Tanner, Virgil Vir-gil Averett, Clark Nisson, Bennie Jolley and Reed Hall left this morning morn-ing for Zion National park. Work has commenced on our new amusement hall. We are hoping it will continue rapidly so it will be ready for use this winter. The Misses Gwennie and Nina Nisson Nis-son and Winnie Cooper returned Monday from an outing in Zion National Na-tional park. Mrs. Rob Hall of Enterprise is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Pendleton arrived Monday from Harbor City, California. Mrs. Martha Alexander, and Mrs. Ray Miller left Tuesday for Cedar City. Earl Hall and Ray Larson left this morning for Cedar City. Miss Cecil Thayne returned Sunday Sun-day from Cedar City. |
