Show NEW HARMONY Now Harmony. Aug. 5. Our town is mourning the death of Mrs. Berry Williams of Kamirra. ltoforu her marriage she was Clara Prince of this place. She was loved by everyone every-one that knew her, and as Up. I'acu expressed himself at her funeral, "wo are promt Hint such a noble woman was raised in our little town." She. is survived by her husband and fivo children of Kanarra and by her mother and step-father, Jlr. and Mrs. Reese Davis of this place and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters. James, Lorenzo, Lawrence and Antone and the misses Juanita, Fern and Vilo Davis. Her aged grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Prince, also survive sur-vive her and were able to attend her funeral, which was held yesterday. large percent of our town attended attend-ed the funeral as did also people from Hurricane, St. George, Cedar, Parowan and Price. The speakers were Wallace Williams, Albert F. JIathis, Bp. Pace, Chas. Parker, Senator Sena-tor David Hirschi, Sisters Barbara Adams and Marsden of the Stake Relief Society, and Brothers Myron D. Higbee and Will Palmer of the stake presidency. Brother John D. Williams sang "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," and a quartet from Cedar furnished the other music. The large crowd present well told of the high esteem in which she was held by everyone as well as did every word uttered by the speakers in regard re-gard to her noble character. Sunday school conference was held here last Sunday, Supt. Bentley and his wife being present, from Parowan. Paro-wan. Kenneth Hirschi has spent the past two days here having come for his family, they having spent the past two weeks here. Grant Hales has gone to Idaho to secure employment. Joseph W. Prince of St. George was here yesterday. Alex Macfarlane of St. George is here on business. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cox of St. George are here visiting. |
