Show TOQUERVILLE Toquerville, May 4. School closed clos-ed Friday after a very successful school year. The junior high school commencement exercises were held in the ward hall Thursday night A little operetta was given by the sixth and seventh grades under the able direction of Vera Seegmiller. Much Praise is due Miss Seegmiller and her pupils in their music. The bee hive girls under their leader, Mrs. Vera Batty, and the trail builders under their leader, Mrs Lillian Bringhurst, have gone to St George to spend the day in the temple. tem-ple. Mrs. Eliza Ann Anderson was called cal-led to Ogden, Friday, on account of the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Anthony Russell. Scott Bringhurst is home from Kanab, after spending the winter there attending school. Harold Slack is home from the hospital in St. George after an operation oper-ation for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Brown and family have moved to Panguitch for the summer. Clarence Englestead was a business busi-ness visitor here Monday, from New Harmony. |
