Show MKX ARRIVE AT GCNLOC'K OOC CAMP CCC Company 2563 is moving into its newly established quarters quar-ters at Gunlock, today. Twelve men, states Captain L. D. Hartford, Hart-ford, commanding officer of the Veyo camp, will arrive at Modena today. These men are from Fort George Wright, Washington. They will be joined by sixteen Utah local experienced men who are I being transferred from the' Salina ! camp on the 14th. According to Captain Hartford, i these men will live in tents pend-j pend-j ing the construction of buildings. This is to be an all-year-around camp. Captain C. M. Petit, for-. for-. merly with the 440 Field Artil-i Artil-i lery, assisted by Lieutenant M. R. Wolfe, will be in command. These j incoming men and offjicers lare from Ohio. The officers have been at the Veyo camp for the last , six weeks for observation work. I The rest of the men will arrive ! when the camp is seventy-five per cent completed. According to Captain Hartford, the Veyo camp has again been awarded the white flag. The men and officers of this canni have been assisting in the establishment establish-ment of the Gunlock camp in addition ad-dition to their regular work. Two sub-camps with approximately fifty fif-ty men each are located at Pine Valley and Pinto doing work in these vicinities. |
