Show r ky BRUCE DALLEY gains Eagle award Eagle Award Presented to Bruce Dalley Dailey Bruce Druce Dancy Dailey 14 of Vernal Boy Scout Troop received his Eagle Award at the District Court of Honor held at Maeser 1st Ward Chapel Wednesday of last Jast week lIe began his scouting career Anthony in St Anthony Idaho in 1958 when he entered the Cub Scout Program Druces Druce's mother was serving as Den Mother at the time and Bruce was assIgned to her den In 1959 Bruce Druce moved to Vcr Ver nal where he entered Pack of Vernal 3rd Ward Here again he was assigned to his mothers mother's den Bruce Druce received the award the highest award given en in the Cub Scout program BoyScout In 1962 Bruce the Boy Doy Scout program by joining Troop under Scout Master Andrew McConkle McConkie lIe attended the high Uinta Scout Summer Uintah River in 1962 In the spring of 1963 Larry Larson took over as scoutmaster Bruce was assigned as Den Chief to assist Mrs Irs Joe Johnson He held this position until recently HE ATTENDED the high Uin Uin- Uin Uinta ta Camp held at Windy Park Parkin Parkin in 1963 ThIs was the first time the camp had been held there In the spring of 1964 Bruce Druce applied for Junior Officer position tion to assist with the operation at the high Uinta Camp lIe was successful and was detailed to camp Maple Dell near Pay Pay- Payson son for a week of training as a Junior Officer prior to the high Uinta Camp Bruce has been blen very active in inthe inthe the Boy Doy Scout program school and church chorch lIe is vice dent of the Boys Doys League at Ashley Valley Junior II i g h school and was president of the Deacons quorum of the Vernal Third Ward HE TOOK part in the official ceremonies welcoming La d y Bird Bird Johnson Johnson at the Flaming Gorge Dam dedication Flaming lie He is a son of Mr and Mrs Durray G Dalley Dailey |
