the theories ones that got away in the Uintah Basin area Salt Lake city Cf ty hunter Steve Hickman was quite happy with the buck he gain gain- gained gained ed during the opener Its a four point which has at least a two foot spread I got it about 9 am I was wandering around trying to figure what to do with it it I got it just off the power line road going to Flaming Gorge I shot at it four times I hit it with the first one and missed him with the other shots It took us a half hour to get it to the road Its It's the biggest one Ive I've ever gotten otten Im I'm happy stated Hickman Bob Smith helped Hickman ha haul ul the buck to the road Myrl Bright of Clearfield and Lee Orme of Sunset encountered tough luck during the opener Saturday We got two deer and they are right over there said Bright Bright and Ormes Orme's deer were their dear wives We take them every everywhere everywhere where we go Orme remarked We saw a big four point paint come right through camp and hes he's stilt still going It came through about 1 pm Myrl saw it but didn't have his rifle as the buck came in just after we came in from hunting I had my rifle but I couldn't see it It The buck bounced across the
