Show Obituaries Glen lambert dies in Murray Glen Glen Alvin Lambert 90 of Vernal died Oct 15 1982 at the Plantation Convalescent Convalescent cent Center in Murray Utah Born Aug 8 1892 in Woodland Utah the son of Ephraim and Agnes Harriet Katherine Michie Lambert He married Margaret Rowena Lewis Aug 25 1917 in inVernal inVernal Vernal Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple He was a US Forest Ranger World War I veteran High Priest in the Vernal Ward former Elders Elder's quorum president dent and teacher He started as a ranger in the Moon Lake district and served in the Manila and Vernal Ranger districts for 33 years He was a member of the American Legion Lions Lion's Club and Vernal Rod and Gun Club He was preceded in death by two daughters Evelyn and Enid Survivors are his widow of Vernal three sons Donald G of San Diego Calif Doyle C of San Clemente Calif and Dean A of Salt Lake City 13 grand grand- grandchildren children and 20 great grandchildren Funeral services were Tuesday Oct 19 in the Vernal Ward Chapel Doyle Lambert gave the family prayer and Bishop Roger Allred conducted the ser ser- service service vice LaRae Caldwell Virginia Ewell and Corene Calder sang Beyond the x Glen Lambert Sunset acc accompanied by DeArmon Bat Bat- Batty Batty ty Dean Lambert gave the invocation Allred gave some remarks and Ralph spoke Mrs Caldwell Mrs Ewell and Mrs Calder sang Abide With Me Patriarch Bert Angus spoke Donald Lambert gave the benediction Prelude and postlude masic was by DeArmon Batty James Lewis dedicated the grave Burial was in the Roosevelt Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors Pallbearers were Douglas Lambert Kenneth Lambert Thomas F Howells Robert Lambert Dennis Lambert and John D Stagg |
