J Horrocks Joyce Horrocks 24 was honored at funeral services held Monday in the Vernal Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Brian ONeil O'Neil officiating Joyce died in Salt Lake City on November 25 after a long illness She was the daughter of Lavon T T. T and Lois Lusty Horrocks VAUGHN FRANCIS gave the family prayer at the mortuary Marjorie played the prelude and postlude music The Rangely Ward Singing Mothers sang the opening song Oh My Father Norval Massey offered the invocation The first speaker was was was' Robert Berrett Marjorie played an organ selection and Gene Hall was the final speaker Grant Peel sang the closing song I Know That my Redeemer Lives Dan Harrison spoke the benediction Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park The pallbearers were Clarence Horrocks Douglas Horrocks Steven Peel Mark Byers Eddie Stewart Allen Roper and Ver Vert Roper The Vernal Third Ward Relief Society took care of the flowers Clark Lusty gave the dedication at the grave Burial was under the direction of the Vernal Mortuary JOYCE WAS born December 18 1950 i In Roosevelt She was s a member of the Church and anda a former resident of Rangely Colorado She is survived by her parents of Vernal three sisters Mrs Eddie Susan Stewart Rangely Colorado Colorado Colleen Colleen and Carol both of Vernal Special town out-of-town guests attending the funeral were Mr and Mrs Verl VerI Roper Roper Bluebell Bluebell Mr and Mrs Allen Allen- Roper Altamont Mr and Mrs Doug Horrocks Diane Foy and Mrs Phil Thompson of Duchesne Mr and Mrs Clarence Horrocks Mr and Mrs Clark Lusty and Mr and Mrs Arden Evans of Arcadia Vangie Howell of Salt Lake City Mr and Mrs Grant Peel and family Mr and Mrs Eddie Stewart and many friends all from Rangely Colorado I |
