Show Couple celebrates anniversary Mr l and Mrs Joseph Luck Vernal celebrated their wedding anniversary June 14 at their home in Vernal and visiting friends in the area TilE THE LUCKS were married June 14 1915 in Vernal and left for the mountains June 20 where Mr Luck was employed with John The Lucks who have been lifelong Vernal 1 residents owned and operated a lumber mill at Twin Parks for 9 IP 2 years Mr Luck a building contractor contractor con con- tractor for 54 years is retired He now pursues his hobby of raising and training race horses Ills His thoroughbred Astronaut Joe won the feature race during the Vernal Race Hace Meet He has also won at Grand Junction where he will again race in July Mr Luck said he has been raising race horses all of his life and raced in the first race held on the Uintah County track when it was constructed MRS l LUCK the former Laura May Campbell shares her husbands hobby and is also a homemaker She is a member of the Relief Society The couples children Joseph B Rock Springs Lynn and Homer both of Vernal Bob American Fork and Eldon of Pleasant Grove will wilI meet with them at a later date for a reunion Two vo of their children boa lona and Laurence are deceased They also have 19 grandchildren and 21 great great- grandchildren |
