Show Moon Lake Elec to Fight Municipal Power Plans Strong opposition was expressed at the annual Moon Lake Electric Association membership meeting held Saturday afternoon afternoon after after- noon at the Uintah High School to plans of Duchesne City to provide its own municipally operated electric power system tem temA A resolution was read by Loryn Ross giving Moon Lakes Lake's proposed action to the tile Duchesne City plans DUCHESNE CITY Is presently served served- by Uintah Power and Light Company which is part of Moon Lake Electrics Electric's operations It was stated at the m meeting meeting meet meet- et ing that if the association lost Duchesne City one one fourth fourth of its investment or about would be lost by Moon Lake Electric This would raise the rates of other members in the Moon Lake system it was stated Over 90 per cent of Duchesne City business comes from members of Moon Lake Electric Association stated director director tor Ira W W.
