myron roberts dies at home myron theadore roberts 81 61 died this morning thursday at at his home in naples of causes incident to old age time of the funeral will be announced later mr roberts was born january 1 1872 in mona juab co utah a son of ephriam horace and emma bell roberts he ile came to vernal with his parents at the age of 21 in 1893 two years later he married margaret mccurdy march 4 1895 the marriage was later solemnized in the salt lake temple february 9 1951 mr roberts as one of the early pioneers of the valley helped to build most of the canals that have been constructed in and around the valley he has also worked on many of the roads of this area having been employed for years both by the county and by the state road commission his ills main occupations were mining sheep shearing and farming from which he had retired some years prior to his death at the time of his demise mr roberts was an elder in the naples ward of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints acting as a ward teacher there mr roberta roberts Is survived by hs his wife a son george lorin roberts idaho falls idaho five daughters mrs curtis chloa linwood utah 1 continued on page 4 MYRON ROBERTS DIES continued from page 1 mrs ray kimball artie roosevelt mrs wallace goodrich dezzle mrs henry 11 merk icy ley alice and mra mrs oral shiner zella all an of vernal two or browers oro iners george Bp berts glines frank roberta roberts mesa arizona ariona a rister sister sylvia allred gusher 23 25 4 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren
