Show and son, C. H., spent Sunday at Lagoon. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jaterka and children are visiting in Eugene, Ore., with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Luene Brandon and her husband, Leonard. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Birk and. son Blaine spent Saturday fish-, ing at Deer Creek reservoir and ; Vivian park. I Airman 3 c Lawrence Valdez, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Valdez, j is now home on a 40-day leave i from Lackland Air Force Base,' San Antonio, Tex. At the end of j his leave, Lawrence will be sent! to Germany. Mr. and Mrs. William Leather-wood Leather-wood left last Thursday for Los Angeles, Calif., to spend two weeki with their daughter, Mrs. Mildred Cox, and other relatives and friends. While enroute to Los Angeles they stopped at Las Vegas, Nev. A birthday party honoring Alfred Al-fred Sorrels on his twelfth birthday birth-day and Earl Turner on his second sec-ond birthday was given last Friday Fri-day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Turner. Lovely refreshments were served to the honored guests as well as Mr. and Mrs. M. E. SorreLs and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sorrels and son Tommy, Mr. and Mrs. William Palmer and daughter Kay, Mrs. Frances Rogcrson and Velma, Jack, VonTres, Douglas and Delia Turner by the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Turner.
