Show BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS by Joyce Olsen Music Festival Tonight A music festival will feature the Bingham Junior and Senior High School P-TA meeting to be held at the high school tonight, Friday. The program under the direction of Lowell Hicks will include the following: the Junior High school band playing "Choral", "Cherie Waltzs and "Bobby Sox March". The Ninth grade chorus will sing "My Hero" and "Irish Eyes" under the direction of Mr. Dickson. Next the Senior high band will play "Devotion", Favorite Straus Waltzes, then Mr. Knotts in Something Different, followed by a saxophone solo "Stardust" by Alfredo Herrera. The band will then continue to play Mangus Overture and Washington Post. Mrs. Herb Traynor will give a humor speech, and then a organ duet by Colleen Mannion and Sandra Laycock. The acapella choir will sing "The Lord's Prayer". Pray-er". 1 "Drv Bones". "Beautiful Ohio", and "Ain't Misbehaven", specially arranged by Mr. Hicks. Ihe Rhythm band and dancers will do Kiss of Fire, followed by a solo with Leila Johnson singing sing-ing "The Kiss". All of the groups will sing America. Reigns Over Football Dance The football dance held the evening of Nov. 7 in honor of the team was very successful. Charming dark haired Colleen Mannion, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mannion of Cop-perton, Cop-perton, was selected by the football foot-ball team from all senior girls, to reign over the dance. Thespian Club A Thespian Club is being formed for sophomores, juniors and seniors. Those who haven't had the chance to sign for the club may do so by contacting Mr. Knotts. |
