Show local notes: Mr. and Mrs. William II. Edwards Ed-wards of Davis, Calif., arrived last Saturday to visit over the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis W. Boren and family, fa-mily, and Mr. Edwards' sister nd family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson and children. Mrs. Homer P. Edwards came last Friday from Roosevelt to be on hand when her son and daughter daugh-ter in law arrived. Mrs. Edwards , together with Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Edwards and MaReen Nelson in Texas, are presently visiting in Austin, Tex., with another son. Enroute home Mr. and Mrs. Knudsen visited with her brother broth-er and wife and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice A. Christensen and daughter Karen at Chandler, Chand-ler, Ariz. Karen returned with the Knudsens to visit here for awhile. '. O loft Monday for Roosevelt. MaReen Ma-Reen will visit there about two weeks. An executive board meeting for retiring and incoming officers offic-ers of the Bingham Women's Civic Club was held at the home of Mrs. MaRee Nelson Wednes- day night. 'Purpose of the meeting meet-ing was .to acquaint new officers with their responsibilities and discuss some business problems pertaining to the club. Attending the meeting were Mrs. Barbara Sorenson, Mrs. Agnes Johnston, Mrs. Martha Page, Mrs. Sadie Swainston, Mrs. Ada Carrigan, Mrs. Hermine Feraco, Mrs. Dawna Huebner, Mrs. Virginia Kelly and Mrs. Nelson. Dainty refreshments were served. Enjoying a picnic outing at Murray park last Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis W. Boren and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Boren and family, Mrs. Homer P. Edwards of Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam H. Edwards of Davis, Calif. i Mr. and Mrs. Elmer V. Knudsen Knud-sen returned last Saturday from a delightful 16 days' vacation in which they visited with their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. John E. (Jack) Knudsen and baby of Dallas, Tex., and also witnessed Jack's graduation from Southern Methodist University. They also visited with Ernestine Hatch at El Paso, Tex., and in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. Accompanying them to Texas was Mr. Knud-sen's Knud-sen's sister, Mrs. Gertrude Doidge and son of Salt Lake City.
