I . i Mr. and Mrs. Earl Eliasen Mr. and Mrs. Earl Eliasen exchange wedding vows Frosty white latticed fences, many 'evergreen Christmas trees with red plaid ' bows and twinkling lights formed the background for the single ring ceremony : when Renee Chew and Earl Eliasen exchanged ex-changed wedding vows at the Jensen Ward LDS Chapel Dec. 17, 1982. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Jack Ruppe. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Chew of Jensen. The groom Vs the son of Mary Eliasen and the late 'Anthone (Whitey) Eliasen of Meeker, Colo. The bride, given in marriage by her i father, wore a gown designed and sewn by herself. The sheer full-sleeved gown of white twinkle fabric had three tiers of ruffles at the bottom with a cathedral train. The tiny illusion veil was crowned crown-ed with silk flowers matching the bridal bouquet of wine colored roses, creme colored col-ored apple blossoms, baby's breath and Kipequot ribbon streamers. ' Before the ceremony, Joe Hacking, uncle un-cle of the bride, gave the opening prayer. Blaine and Cara Hunting sang "Let It Be Me," and "You Light Up My Life." Marlyn (Jones) Feldbush, wearing a cranberry colored crepe prairie dress, attended the bride while Ellis Eliasen, a brother, was the groom's best man. Groomsman was Scott Chew. Sisters of the bride, Queeda and La-dean, La-dean, were bridesmaids wearing creme, cranberry and black plaid taffeta prairie-style blouses with black velveteen velve-teen prairie skirts. Ladean's escort was Travis Bedell. Sitting at the guest book was Vicky Taylor. Giftbearers were Tyler Hacking and Mark Weisgerber. Serving were Jessi Hacking, Jolyn Hacking, Heather Mott, JaRee Ruppe and Valerie Peltier. Helping in the kitchen were members of the Jensen Relief Society under the direction of Gladys Peterson and Lory Edrington, close friends of Renee. Helping at the gift table were Sarah Weisgerber, Margie Mott, Sarah Eliasen, Thresa Steffer and Linda Hacking. A large three-tiered wedding cake, created by the bride and decorated by Denise Hunting, was patterned after her parent's wedding cake of white swans and graceful arches with silk flowers, matching the bridal bouquet, encased in tall goblets holding the tiers of cake apart. A miscellaneous shower was given by Kristy Wall and Vicky Taylor at Vicky's home in Jensen.
