Show UHS cheerleader chosen as college cheerleader Margo Ence, the daughter of George and Peggy Ence, became a Dixie College Col-lege cheerleader this spring. Margo, the head cheerleader at Uintah Uin-tah High School this last year, went to Dixie College May 20 and 21 to try out for cheerleading. The contestants were required to bring a personal cheer and a pom-pom routine. At Dixie they were taught a dance routine and a college cheer and were given a personal per-sonal interview. Previous cheerleaders from all over the state of Utah competed in front of six judges ; four judges were former Dixie cheerleaders,, one judge was the football foot-ball coach and the vice president of the college. The girls were also judged on spirit, gymnastics and personal appearance. Six cheerleaders were chosen. Two of the girls were cheerleaders the year before at Dixie.
