If you include industrial use, the average consumption of water in the U.S. is some 1,855 gallons per person per day. It's also good from an economic point of view. One of the best bargains you can buy is safe, clean drinking water. The average price in the United States is only $1-03 per thousand gallons, about ten gallons for a penny. WTater is by far the least expensive utility.
