Show 1 -; ' J 1 - - : Lillian Westwood Lillian Westwood dies at 80 Lillian Peterson Westwood, 80, died in Vernal May 14, 1983. Born July 11, 1902 in Woodside, Utah, she was the daughter of Peter and Emma Rasmussen Peterson. She married Ephriam J. Westwood Dec. 6, 1919 in Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple She was a homemaker and member of the Vernal 8th Ward. She retired from the Uintah County Hospital after 35 years of service. Survivors are two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Edith Westwood of Vernal and Mrs. Delia Pemberton of Vernal ; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 17, in the Vernal 8th Ward Chapel. Bishop Cal Dee Reynolds conducted the service, and Robert Westwood gave the family prayer. Lloyd Goodrich gave the invocation. Bishop Reynolds gave some remarks. Art Shaefermeyer spoke. Robin Hales Bill Murphy and Terry Anderson sang "Somewhere My Love" and "In The Garden." Ashel Evans spoke. Matt Foley gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Mary Schaefermeyer. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park. Orlan Cook dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Stephen Westwood, Jim Westwood, Bruce Sidwell, Ronald Westwood, Robert Westwood, and Eddie Sidwell. Honorary pallbearers were John Sidwell and Clifford Westwood.
