Show Country Meadow pupils celebrate Thanksgiving Country Meadows Early Education Center ushered in the holiday season last Wednesday with the preparation and serving of the annual Thanksgiving dinner. The children experienced a natural Thanksgiving when they made pumpkin pies from their Halloween Jack-o-Lanterns and made rolls from wheat they had ground themselves. Yams, carrots and celery sticks, cranberries and dressing also complemented com-plemented the king of the dinner, roast turkey. The children, with the help of their teachers, prepared the food for the feast and made the table covers. The dinner was served buffet style with the oldest children in each session serving the food.
