Former Vernalite made new manager-engineer The promotion of Kenneth A. Winder to replace James M. Lee as the manager-engineering has been announced an-nounced by Moon Lake Electric Association, Roosevelt. Lee has been with the Association since 1969 and is leaving to become the Director of Planning for the Intermountain Consumer Con-sumer Power Association in Sandy. In his new position. Winder will remain at the Roosevelt office and will have prime responsibility for the administration ad-ministration of engineering and long-range long-range planning for the Association, according to Steve A. Claim, General Manager, who announced the promotion. Winder joined Moon Lake in 1972 as junior engineer. He was later promoted to supervising engineer, and in this capacity has been responsible for substation design and system reliability protection. The son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Joseph Winder, he was born and reared in Vernal where he graduated from Uintah High School. In 1972 he received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Brigham Young University. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Utah and Colorado. Winder resides in Roosevelt with his wife Kareen and their four children. He is actively involved in church activities and scouting in his community. |
