Show Vernal fighters conquer opponents in Wyoming Three Vernal fighters won bouts in boxing matches at Lyman, Wyoming Saturday. Jay Burr, Vernal, 55, defeated Darby Doll of Encampment and Bennie Moore, Vernal, 75, downed Kent Marsh of Rock Springs. Mike Lewis, Vernal, 100, toppled Rock Springs' Paul Barrett. Max Burr, Vernal, 55 and Doug Fernell, Saratoga, tied in a bout. Larry Harrison, Vernal, 75, was defeated by Rubin Trujillo of Rock Springs Other fight results are as follows: Brent Walk, Lyman, 106, over Stuart AJcorn, Encampment; Flink Cavey, Encampment, 60, over Tony Palmasano, Lyman; Scott Bauer, Saratoga, 60, over Tony Marsh, Rock Springs; Scott Hartsell.
