' ' ' 1 : r r: ' TRESSIE LEORA MURRAY Lapoint homemaker dies Nov. 24 Tressie Leora Murray, 72, died of natural causes at her home in Lapoint, Utah, Nov. 24, 1980. Born April 20, 1908 in Vernal, she was the daughter of Walter Dwight and Mary Ann Hadlock Dow. She married Andres Hugh Murray Feb. 25, 1927 in Vernal. She was a member of the LDS Church, loved to sew and make quilts and was a former resident of Neola and Jensen. Survivors are her husband of Lapoint; sons and daughters, Mrs. Nelson (Eva) Merkley, Provo; Vern Eugene, Portland, Ore,; William Rilery, Gusher; and Mrs. Dean (Twila Ann) Merkley, Vernal; 16 grandchildren, grand-children, eight great grandchildren; and brothers, Donnell C. Dow, Vernal and Raymond E. Dow, Louisville, Ky. She was preceded in death by a son, Austin Hugh Murray. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Maeser Second Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery.
