Show Ballard Telintha Rasmussen I Phone 722-4875 J LDS Primary meeting change in Ballard Ward Primary will start for Ballard Ward at 2:30 Wednesday, October 24, prayer meeting will be at 2 p.m. Teachers should be there at 1:30 to get teaching materials out of library. Esther Dye from Salt Lake visited her sister, Telintha Rasmussen, for two days last week. Chris Sharp has moved into his trailer home located on the ground that used to belong to Kelly Redmund, about three fourths of a mile south of Ballard Church. Mr. and Mrs. Don White have moved their trailer home onto their ground just south of Chris Sharp's trailer and are living there now. Construction on the Ballard town and County Building has started, the cement foundation has been poured. This is located one mile south of Ballard Church on the property that used to belong to Heber Petter and was sold to Dr. Morrow, who gave the town of Ballard 10 acres. Visitors at the Mourine Hobbs home over the weekend were her son, Victor Roushar and family from Montrose, Colorado. Victor is a lawyer and practices in Montrose. Also Mrs. L.L. Knox, an aunt from Denver, Colorado, who is 92 years old is going to spend several weeks at the Hobbs home. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Hoffman, relatives drove Mrs. Knox here in their car. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Haslem have a new daughter, born October 10, at Duchesne County Hospital, weighing 7 1 j pounds and was named, Andrea. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Karl Shisler and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Haslem of Tridell. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Mont Poulson of Rockland, Idaho; Hazel Shisler and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem of Orem. Marie Bartlett, from Logan, spent several days here with her mother, Melba Eldredge. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Secrest, went to the Provo LDS Temple last Friday and were married for time and all eternity. Those from Ballard that accompanied thorn were Dorothy Kettle, Inez Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Asay. :-.
