The SU'clcrs are in first place in the junior league at 5-0, and the Dolphins are in second place at 3 0. The Shorthorns Shor-thorns from Allamont arc in first place in the senior league at 4 0. Following the Shorthorns in the senior league standings are: Cardinals, second 2-1; Jets, third 1-3 and Rams, fourth 0-4. The Cowboys and the Colts are tied for third place at 2-2 and the Chiefs are in fifth place in the junior league at 2-3. The Packers are in sixth place at 1-2, and the Vikings are in seventh place at 1-3. The Saints are in eighlh place at 0-4. The Colts nipped the Chiefs, 12 to 6 and the Jets blanked the Rams, 6 to 0. September 26. One of the highlights of the Colts win over the Chiefs was a trick play which consisted of the center flipping flipp-ing the ball to one of his runners on the hike with his ten teammates on the far left side of the line of scrimmage. The play resulted in a touchdown. Ve. aal's Vikings, blanked the Saints 14 to 0, and the Steelers thumped the Cowboys 25 to 7, Thursday. The Dolphins downed the Colts, 20 to 9 and the Chiefs shutout the Vikings 20 to 0, Saturday. The Shorthorns thumped the Jets in Altamont 20 to 0 and the Steelers blanked the Saints 35 to 0, Saturday. The Steelers have outscored junior league opponents in five games, 171 to 13, and the Shorthorns have scored 109 in four games as compared to 25 by their opponents. The Dolphins have outscored their opponents in three games. 50 to 21. The Saints will battle the Cowboys on the east field and the Colts will face the Packers on the west field, Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. Games set for Saturday are: Dolphins vs. Saints, east field; Packers vs. Steelers, west field, 10 a.m.; Jets vs. Rams, west field and Vikings vs. Colts, east field, 11:30 a in. The Chiefs will battle the Cowboys on the east field and the Rams will take on the Cardinals on the west field at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wednes-day.
